Imaging Report

What is included in your report?

Every scan carried out at Pro Scan Imaging is interpreted by a UK-based, FRCR-qualified Consultant Radiologist with over 15 years of experience. Reports are typically delivered within 24 to 48 hours of your scan. Each report provides a clear summary of findings, clinical impressions, and any relevant recommendations to guide your next steps in care. Below is breakdown of what is included in your report:

Scan Details & Protocol

Summary of the body area assessed and the imaging techniques used

Radiologist Observations

Objective findings from the images—such as lesions, anatomical anomalies, inflammation, or soft tissue abnormalities.

Clinical Interpretation

A plain‑language summary explaining what the findings suggest (e.g. normal anatomy, benign lesions, or areas requiring further review).

Recommendations & Next Steps

Referrals for further imaging, consultation with a clinician, or follow-up scans if needed.

What to Do With Your Report

Once your scan has been completed, your report will be reviewed and written by a Consultant Radiologist. This report, along with your images, will be securely sent to you and your referring clinician — whether that’s a GP, specialist, physiotherapist, or another healthcare provider.

We strongly recommend discussing your report with a medical professional who understands your clinical history. They can explain the findings in context, answer any questions, and help guide your next steps — whether that means further imaging, treatment, or reassurance.

If you were referred by a clinician, the report will support their diagnosis or care plan. If you referred yourself, your GP or private consultant can use the report to plan any necessary follow-up.

Report and Image Transfer

We make it easy to share your scan results with the healthcare professionals involved in your care. Once your report is ready, we can securely send both the written report and scan images directly to you and your referring clinician.

If you’re seeing a hospital consultant, we can arrange image transfer via the NHS Image Exchange Portal or through secure digital delivery for private providers. Simply ask your consultant or clinic to email a request to info@pro-scanimaging.com at least 2–3 days before your appointment, and we’ll ensure everything is in place for your follow-up.

Whether your care continues in the NHS or privately, we’ll support a smooth transition with fast, secure access to your imaging results.
