Our Brain and Body MRI Scan takes approximately 70–75 minutes and generates over 500 high-resolution images. This advanced screening is designed to highlight early signs of abnormalities or hidden conditions, giving you peace of mind and helping you take proactive steps for your health.

The package includes a pre-scan private GP telephone consultation, MRI scan appointment, and a detailed written report by a Consultant Radiologist and Image Transfer to view on a Simple easy to use portal

This comprehensive screening covers key areas of the brain and body to help identify potential abnormalities or underlying conditions with precision. Please note current waiting time for Brain and Body scan package’s is likely to be longer than routine scans due to current demand

Screening scan for abnormal brain structural pathology, presence of brain tumours and cysts including size and location, Brain Haemorrhage, White matter disease, 

– Stroke / mini-stroke

Whole Spine – Cervical, Thoracic and Lumbar Spine

 Screening Scan for Evidence of Compression fractures, tumours, nerve compression, spinal cord abnormalities, bulging discs, vertebrae collapse, stenosis, tumours, signs of infection in the intervertebral disc space.

– Cervical Spine (Neck) – discs, spinal cord, and nerve roots
– Thoracic Spine (Mid-back) – vertebrae, discs, and spinal cord
– Lumbar Spine (Lower back) – vertebrae, discs, and nerve exits
– Spinal Cord Survey – screening for inflammation, lesions, or abnormal signal changes
– Intervertebral Discs – checking for wear, bulges, or degeneration
– Bony Structures – vertebrae alignment and integrity
– Major Soft Tissues – surrounding muscles and ligaments (overview level)

Pelvis

Screening for both hip joints, evidence of tumours and polyps
Evidence of ovarian tumours and cysts,
Bladder – Evidence of tumours

– Hip joints – screening for cartilage, labrum, and joint fluid
– Pelvic bones – stress fractures, bone marrow changes, tumours, or infection
– Muscles & tendons – tears, strains, or inflammation around the hips and pelvis
– Ligaments – sprains or injury to stabilising structures
– Bursae (fluid sacs) – bursitis or swelling near the hips
– Inflammation or oedema – STIR sequences highlight swelling in bone or soft tissue
– Sacroiliac joints – arthritis, sacroiliitis, or early inflammatory changes
– Soft tissue masses – cysts, tumours, or abnormal growths in the pelvic region
– Post-trauma changes – bruising, haematomas, or scarring

Abdomen

Screening scan which Includes visualisation of Liver, Kidneys, Spleen, pancreas and other key organs.
 Evidence of tumours/masses in pancreas, liver, kidney, gall bladder, presence of gall stones,
adrenal tumour or abdominal aortic aneurysm. 
Evidence of other diseases of kidney including cysts visualisation.​.

Liver – fatty changes, cysts, tumours, cirrhosis, or scarring
Gallbladder & bile ducts – stones, inflammation, or obstruction
Pancreas – inflammation (pancreatitis), cysts, or masses
Kidneys – cysts, tumours, swelling, or scarring
Spleen – enlargement, cysts, or lesions
Adrenal glands – screening for masses
Blood vessels – large abdominal vessels can be reviewed for blockage or aneurysm
Fluid collections – ascites, abscesses, or post-surgical changes
Lymph nodes – enlargement or spread of disease
Surrounding soft tissues – incidental findings in the bowel, muscles, or abdominal wall
