🚪 Arrival & Welcome
When you arrive, we’ll confirm your booking details and go through a quick safety checklist — just to make sure it’s all safe to scan.
Our radiographer will explain every step so you know exactly what to expect before we start.
You can wear your own clothes if they’re metal-free (like joggers or leggings), and you’ll keep your valuables safely with you.
🧲 The Scan
You’ll lie down comfortably on the scanner bed, and we’ll position you so the area we’re scanning sits perfectly in the centre of the magnet.
The scanner uses a powerful magnetic field and radio waves — no radiation involved — to capture detailed images.
With Deep Resolve Boost technology, our system captures high-resolution images in around 10 minutes, while reducing motion blur and keeping the experience quiet and smooth.
You’ll hear rhythmic tapping sounds while the scan runs — that’s completely normal. You will have a call bell if you need to stop the scan or would like to come out.
☕ After the Scan
Once we’re done, that’s it — you’re free to go straight away.
There’s no recovery time, no side effects, and you can carry on with your day as normal.
Your MRI images are reviewed by our consultant radiologist, and you’ll receive a comprehensive report within 48–72 hours — securely sent to your referrer or directly to you, depending on your booking.
